study, study, study!

So, finals week has arrived. ARGH! It is so stressful! I had my first final this morning at 8am, which was probably my easiest one. Now my next final is tomorrow at 4pm, but I just don't have the energy to study! Thankfully I have found two people to meet up with between now and the test, in hopes of learning lots of information! By this time next week I will be done!!! Well, at least for the summer!

Today I took a study break and baked blueberry muffins. All the girls commented on how good it smelled in our apartment! Must mean I didn't mess them up! Plus we needed it to smell nice after the party on Monday night. Thankfully we cleaned up on Sunday because otherwise our apt would be a mess for the next two weeks!

As for now I am enjoying the lovely weather and going to study!

NATIONAL CHAMPS!

Oh goodness, I still have yet to update this blog in roughly 2 months. I am obviously not too good at this thing!
However, exciting news from last week. WE WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! I couldn't believe that it was barely a game! Obviously, the Tar Heels wanted it really bad (as if we didn't already know that due to Tyler...). It was definitely a unique experience to be at school when we won. Of course we all ran to Franklin street, which was piled with tons of students! I got punched in the eye, but thankfully it didn't bruise!
The University was really mean though, because I still had class at 9:30 the next morning. Basically, they left it up to each professor to cancel class and NONE OF MINE DID! I felt bad for my 9:30 professor because he was evaluated to renew his term here! Goodness, that was just mean.

On a more recent note, the girls intramural team that I am on won our championship last night! We were awarded the coveted BLUE shirt (which most of us already had one from winning freshman year). It was really exciting! We didn't really expect to win because the team that we were playing was really good! The beginning of the game went according to expectation because we were quickly down 0-1. Nevertheless, we prevailed and ended up going on a 5-0 scoring streak! I EVEN SCORED A GOAL (for those of you who don't really know, I NEVER score goals)! Apparently our defense really paid off because we won 5-2!!! Everyone was really excited!

Now, onto a wedding this weekend with my roommates. Potentially awkward, since I don't know the groom that well and I have never met the bride. Nonetheless, weddings are always fun!

Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather! I want it to stay this way!
