Day 29: Something You Are Listening To

This awesome band named Fun. The lead singer was the lead singer in one of my favorite bands throughout high school and college, The Format, until they broke up in 2008. "We Are Young" is actually number one on iTunes right now, but probably because Glee covered the song a few weeks ago. Give them a listen!

Day 28: Money

I spend entirely too much money on Starbucks. I blame my sisters.

Day 27: Something You Ate

Steak, corn, and purple potatoes! I was almost thrown off by the color, but David made an amazing meal. The meal was accompanied by a lovely red wine and a combination of How I Met Your Mother and The Voice. What a happy Monday!

Day 25: Green

The green looks a little faded, but I promise you it is much brighter in real life. Plus, since it is an Irish bar, we were surrounded by green!

My shoe options for work! The heels and flats normally stay at work and I wear the boots to and from work. The flash makes my foot look deathly white but I promise it is a healthy winter-pale!

Day 18: Drink

David has been drinking a lot of these since Mexico because he was sick and said they make him feel better. I think they smell too much like vinegar!

Day 17: Time

My Christmas watch from David. I wear it almost every day. It is so nice to be able to tell the time with my watch, rather than having to search around for my phone.

Day 16: Something New

My back has been hurting for some time, so David finally convinced me to go to the chiropractor. Today I had my second appointment and these are my new exercises. Hopefully they will help strengthen my core and fix my pelvis!

Day 15: Phone

This is the phone I use at work. Unfortunately, because my iPhone is my source for pictures, I am unable to take a picture of my iPhone, despite how much I love it.

Day 14: Heart

I thought I would post three pictures, because I couldn't decide between them. The first one depicts two swans forming a heart, made out of towels. The second one is a heart made out of a balloon. Finally, the third is the pretty cute Valentine's Day board at the resort.

This is a picture of the front door to my office. Gotta love how old this door is. It is also very heavy and almost slams shut on me every day.

Day 8: Sun

The first picture was taken from my office chair, looking out on Michigan Ave. The window is super dusty and dirty. The second picture is the window of Chalk Preschool, which I pass on my walk home, inside my little park.

Day 5: 10 a.m.

So, I missed 10 a.m. because I wasn't paying attention to the time this morning and forgot that was the topic for today. However, this was my view at 10 a.m.

Day 4: Stranger

Lame, I know, but I decided to go for the word rather than a person. I didn't have my phone the one time we went out today, so this will have to do! David and I watched this movie yesterday and it was pretty good, so this is my picture for today.

Day 3: Hands

Funny story behind this picture: in order to take a picture of both of my hands, I had to lay my phone down on my desk and press the button with my nose!

Day 2: Words

Here is a picture of my to-do list at work, which looks a bit messy, but I like leaving myself little notes so that I don't forget anything. This is actually a pretty tame list for me, usually the piece of paper is packed with notes. I looked for some cool words on my walk to work today, but all I really saw were store names and by the time I left work, it was dark outside!

February Photo A Day Challenge: Day 1: Your View

My sisters and I decided to participate in this February photo a day challenge. I think it is going to be really fun! However, the hardest part for me will be posting every day. I had many different options for my view today, but this is the one I picked:

 

This is the view from my balcony, at night. I was going to take a picture of the bird poop on my jacket (thanks to a lovely pigeon this morning), but I quickly wiped it off so that it wouldn't stain. Even though it is dark outside, here in the city with all the lights, it is never really completely dark.

Just so I will remember, below is the list of each day and the subject for the photo challenge:
